What is Inventory Inbound?
Inventory Inbound is the process of receiving furniture into our warehouse. We receive, identify, photograph, label and store products while creating visibility through our inventory management system.
Can you receive deliveries from our suppliers?
Yes. We regularly receive furniture from local manufacturers, importers, distributors and suppliers on behalf of retailers, designers and commercial projects.
What happens when furniture arrives at your warehouse?
We photograph the packaging and paperwork, identify the products, create inventory records, label the items and store them within our Furniture Warehousing system.
Do you notify us when stock arrives?
Yes. Once inventory has been received and processed, we notify our clients and update the inventory records within our system.
Do you photograph incoming deliveries?
Yes. We photograph incoming packaging and delivery documentation as part of our receiving process.
Do you label inventory?
Yes. Every item is identified, labelled and entered into our inventory system to maintain visibility and traceability.
What happens if stock arrives unexpectedly?
We gather as much information as possible, contact the client, identify ownership, create inventory records and store the products correctly within our warehouse.
Can you receive products from multiple suppliers?
Yes. We regularly receive products from multiple suppliers and consolidate them for retailers, designers and commercial projects.
Do you check products when they arrive?
Our standard receiving process focuses on identification and documentation. If required, we can perform a Quality Check service that includes unpacking, inspection and detailed reporting.
Do you photograph the furniture itself?
As part of receiving, we photograph packaging and documentation. Additional furniture photography can be completed through our Quality Check service.
Can you receive stock before a project starts?
Yes. We can receive and store furniture until a project is ready for delivery, installation or Project Consolidation.
Can you receive stock for interior designers?
Yes. We regularly receive furniture, artwork, rugs and project inventory on behalf of interior designers and design studios.
Can you receive stock for furniture retailers?
Yes. Many retailers use our Inventory Inbound service as part of a complete Furniture Logistics solution.
Can we access received inventory online?
Yes. Clients can access inventory records and product information through our Client Portal.
What if delivery paperwork is missing?
We gather as much information as possible, contact the relevant parties and work with the client to correctly identify and process the inventory.
Can you receive inventory before it is allocated to a customer?
Yes. Many clients use our Furniture Warehousing services to store inventory before customer allocation or project scheduling.
Why is Inventory Inbound important?
Inventory Inbound creates visibility from the moment furniture arrives. Accurate receiving, labelling and documentation help reduce errors and improve inventory management throughout the furniture journey.
Do you have container unloading bays?
No. We receive containers using side-loader access. We do not operate dedicated container bays, so container deliveries must be coordinated before arrival.
Can a container remain at your warehouse after delivery?
Containers should be removed on the same day whenever possible. In most cases, containers must be collected within 24 hours of arrival unless alternative arrangements have been approved beforehand.
How much notice do you require before a container arrives?
We require a complete inventory list at least 7 days before the container arrives. This allows us to prepare receiving records, warehouse space and labour requirements.
